CMDART seeking additional Board candidates

For 13 years, we have provided information, training, support, supplies and personnel to help plan, prepare and respond to disasters throughout Central Massachusetts. This 501(c)3 was developed from the ground up and is one of the most active animal disaster response teams in the State. With many great accomplishments behind us, we continue to build out the organizational structure for streamlined disaster response.

 

Board of Directors Open Positions

The Board of Directors is seeking general Board members with a passion for the CMDART mission and the ability to work well with a team. Any and all applicants will be considered for general Board membership so long as they meet general skill requirements. President / Chairman of the Board for CMDART’s Governance – Volunteer Position (~20 hours/mo)

The President and Chairman of Governance shall have general supervision over the affairs of the Corporation/Organization as directed by the Board of Directors. Basic requirements for this position include administration, communication, and basic computer skills, an understanding of the requirement of a non-profit organization, group and volunteer management skills, and a passion for the CMDART mission. Development opportunities for this position include leadership in high profile service within Central Massachusetts, the ability to enhance your personal organizational and leadership skills, the ability to develop additional roles/responsibilities within CMDART.  Over time you will be able to increase public exposure, and most importantly, have the ability to contribute to a humanitarian cause that can prevent, respond to and reduce suffering for pets and pet owners while aiding community public safety.

Events Coordinator

CMDART is seeking an Events Coordinator to manage the attendance of fundraising and training events throughout the year. Applicant may be considered for a Board of Directors position if desired, but Board membership is not necessary.
